In my gun, with the stock barrel, the CCI Maxi Mags, both 40-gr FMJ and 40-gr JHP keyhole (and make terrible groups), but they do go bang and cycle flawlessly. The CCI may be fine in yours, the keyholing problem seems to be hit or miss.With it's hybrid blowback action, the PMR-30 might have a better chance of working than pure blowback designs. But the acceptable variation in ammo specs for safe and reliable operation might be very tight.
